After every use: empty it completely, rub the inside of each well with a clean fingertip, rinse with fresh contact lens solution, then stand it upside down with the caps off to air-dry. Never use tap, bottled or distilled water. Water can carry Acanthamoeba and other microorganisms that cause serious eye infections. Wash your hands before handling the case, and never top up old solution with new.

Yes. JADE Cases are sold as cases only, so use your usual multipurpose solution alongside. Always use fresh solution rather than topping up what's already in the wells, and never substitute water or saline for disinfecting solution.

Physically, far longer than a free case, which usually clouds or cracks within months. You should still replace it every three months, as the CDC and FDA both recommend, because bacterial biofilm builds up inside the wells regardless of condition. That's why we sell twos and threes rather than pretending one case will see you through the year.

Yes, the case stores both. If you wear rigid gas permeable lenses, note that RGP care systems differ from soft lens systems, and hard lens products should never be used on soft lenses. Follow whatever your optician has prescribed for your lens type.

Yes, it's built for it. At 6.5 × 3.5 × 2.5cm it fits a toiletry bag, handbag or coat pocket, and the screw-on seal means it won't leak in transit. The case itself isn't restricted in hand luggage. Contact lens solution does count toward your liquids allowance, so decant into a travel-size bottle sold for the purpose rather than any small container.

Polycarbonate and polypropylene, and BPA-free. Polycarbonate gives the case its rigidity and clarity, polypropylene handles the parts that need to flex and seal. Both are non-porous, so the case doesn't absorb residue or cloud the way thin single-use cases do within weeks.
