Spitalfields Candle Company is a small candle maker based in central London, hand-pouring soy candles in small batches with essential oils sourced from UK-grown extracts where possible. Try the Neroli or Basil, Bay & Lime.
3. Octō Italian Garden candle (from £14)
Octō is a small family-run business that has hand-poured candles in South London and Aix-en-Provence since 2017, using plant wax and pure essential oils. Their Italian Garden candle blends rosemary, sweet orange and sage.
4. Angela Flanders Rose candle (£35)
A Columbia Road institution. Angela Flanders is an independent artisan perfumery that has made its scents and candles in East London for 40 years. Their Rose candle is a lovely excuse for a Sunday flower-market trip.
5. POSY London foaming bath salts (£12.95)
POSY is a small natural body-care brand, handmade in Newbury since 2018. Their foaming bath salts come in Frankincense & Orange or Ginger & Mint, and a 250 g bottle lasts 15 to 20 baths.
6. Estrid Mini Razor & Case Set
Estrid's mini steel razor has its own case. Pair it with a JADE case and the whole wash bag suddenly looks put together.
